SAL-FIN — Alternative Dispute Resolution

SAL-FIN (the alternative dispute resolution entity for financial services — Centrul de Soluționare Alternativă a Litigiilor în Domeniul Financiar Nebancar) is the national alternative dispute resolution entity with specific competence in the non-banking financial sector, organised and operating alongside the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).

When you can turn to SAL-FIN

As a consumer, if you have a dispute with BEST CREDIT INVEST IFN S.A. relating to a non-banking financial product or service and have been unable to resolve it directly with us within 30 days of submitting your complaint, you may request alternative dispute resolution through SAL-FIN.

The SAL-FIN procedure is free of charge for the consumer and represents an alternative to court proceedings — it is faster and more accessible.

How the procedure works

The SAL-FIN procedure is conducted in two forms, at the consumer’s choice:

  1. “SAL-FIN imposes the solution” procedure — a binding solution for both parties, delivered by a conciliator;
  2. “SAL-FIN proposes the solution” procedure — an amicable solution proposed by a conciliator, which the parties may accept or reject.
